

The brand is looking for hot female models for the 1st annual female calendar photo shoot and those selected will be working as brand ambassadors, traveling the country to spread the word on AKOO. The publication predominantly features R&B and hip hop music artists, actors and other entertainers. T.I.’s AKOO Clothing Brand has teamed up with Vibe Magazine to kick off a national model casting.

Designed by VIBE’s art director, Raul Rivera, the VIBE Air Force 1 is inspired by the first issue of the magazine. Eszter Cselnyi features her latest series titled Kitchen Vibe photograph by Amir Jamshidi. In commemoration of the 10-year anniversary, Nike developed an exclusive hyperstrike VIBE colorway of one of hip-hop’s favorite silhouettes, the Nike Air Force 1. The test issue of the magazine in fall of 1992 featured Treach from Naughty by Nature, and the first official issue of VIBE featured Snoop Dogg in 1993. the cover through the long, straightened hair of the models, locating the models hair in a historically- informed context of black hair theory and practice. Documented with high-quality photography and journalism, VIBE secured some of the largest names in music and popular culture to grace its covers.
